Galileo has a magnificent floating mooring, situated on the River Thames at Brentford - opposite Kew Gardens and the transfer could be possible to the new owner but only by private arrangement with the mooring owner -

She is also capable of cruising the rivers of the UK or the canals of Europe. This barge is very well fitted out and in spotless condition with a good mix of traditional and modern equipment. The interior is light, spacious and airy with full standing headroom throughout.
The sleeping accommodation consists of :
A Master sleeping cabin in the after end with en-suite shower and electric toilet facilities attached, this cabin also has a double walk around (island) berth with plenty of storage for clothes. It is nicely fitted out with lots of changing room.
In the bow there is a double cabin, again with en-suite electric toilet facilities, this time with 2 bunk beds and large hanging lockers.
The wheelhouse can double as another sleeping cabin and there are settee berths for three small people or two adults. This is a lovely additional space for those family guests.
The saloon is a delight with an open plan galley fitted with all modern conveniences and good views of the surrounding countryside. There is a traditional stove also radiator heating and all windows on this barge are double glazed, there is no condensation and you will be warm all Winter.
Up the stairs into the wheelhouse you have a comfortable sun room, fully heated and double glazed that can be used Winter or Summer. When used as a wheelhouse it is ideal for guiding the vessel through the countyside in the company of all your friends and family. In addition the after end opens into a spacious al fresco dining and sunbathing area.
She is well thought out, a very comfortable and practical cruising home based on a traditional Klipper hull with good engineering qualities. She must be seen to be appreciated.
Galileo has a new survey report and was drydocked (Sept 2014), shotblasted primed and painted with 2 coats of hull blacking. 15 new Anodes were fitted. There is also a new Black tank installation with a 350 litre tank.
